We're a community band and always open to new players joining. Please email us before coming along to a rehearsal.
We currently have vacancies on Bassoon and French Horn. We are looking for players of approximately Grade 5 standard or above. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in term time from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at Unit 36, Chadkirk Business Park in Romiley, Stockport.

Would you like to book Werneth Concert Band or Werneth Swing Band for an event?
Both Werneth Concert Band and Werneth Swing Band are delighted to receive enquiries from organisations who wish to host us for concerts - whether this is choirs or bands looking to share a concert, or individuals or groups wishing to book either band for a specific event.
In the past this has included both outdoor and indoor concerts, for example in Summer 2023 Werneth Concert Band played in Marple Memorial Park as part of the Open Gardens in Marple festival and Werneth Swing Band played at the Woodley Cricket Club as part of their Coronation Celebration.
